Sad Face by Sketchywolf-13 Sad Face by Sketchywolf-13
You guys have no idea how much I miss coming home everynight from work and getting to draw for everyone. Reading the comments from my awesome fans, talking to fellow artists, doing trades, going to cons and meeting most of you...I miss it.

I came home for Thanksgiving werkend to my family home after several weeks out on the road. I woke up Solar Flare from a long slumber and had to get a few tools out from the garage and totally forgot about my art desk till it caught my eye...covered in dust, with the pieces I never finished, the art trades in a stack named "For Friends" and the piece of unfinished work just sitting there right where I left it those many months ago. Has if saying to myself, "I'll finish this when I get back from trucking school!" But never did.

It pains me that I pretty much stopped my art dead in its tracks. This new job as me doing so much, I never have time anymore for my art. It kills me...

I'm sorry friends, sorry it ended like this...

That really sucks. I'm new here and my friend told me so much about you and how your art looks so awesome. So I was just browsing your gallery and your work is really cool. I really do hope you get at least a small chance in the future to make and post more art!

It's ok, I'm doing the same exact thing. Only differences are you have people that understand, and you at least have something to look forward to for free time. Me? I can't even figure out what to do. And I can't do anything with the crap I got, but I manage anyways.

Just do you Sketch, that's all that matters

You really don't have to quit Sketchy, even if it takes a few months we're prepared to wait ;]

You should pick up a sketchbook and take it with you on the road.

Dont worry man, Im sure no one thinks less of you. If they do, well screw them. You went out and chased down a career, a good way to make yourself some decent cash. For that, I applaud you. Keep your head up, your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. Happy trails sketch!

Don't beat yourself up, Sketchy. We all get through our busy lives together. I'm sure you'll catch up with you're art sometime. :)

Don't stress over it. Once you work out and adjust you'll find time, or work less, find a part time job.

That might work too. Can check on the house on lunch breaks or whatnot. Long haul truckers rarely ever are at home but a few times a month.

It happens rather often. Don't worry, you will get around it. :3 Just some time is needed.

Who says your art has ended? Have you sketched while on the road, perhaps while taking rest breaks every now and again? Art skill withers if it's not kept up...
